Continuous Learning
Studies shows that maximum brain development of a child happens during the formative years, ie during the pre-schooling years. While we have challenges facing us considering the environment, discontinuing learning is not a recommended option for children. Contrary to what many people believe, children are not just losing few classes by not attending schools, they are compromising on the overall growth of the child, the impact will be visible in later years in life.
Engage Children
One of the challenge faced by parents, in the absence of schools is the over dependence on gadgets by children. Various studies by experts, including one commissioned by experts from NIMHANS suggest that children should not spend more than one hour per day on electronic gadgets. This can negatively impact their growth and development.
Pre-Recorded Classes
We understand that preschool children find it extremely stressful to sit in front of a computer for long in an organised fashion. Their span of attention is limited, in the background of their home environment.
Children also need parental supervision and guidance during homeschooling. Considering the challenges of working parents in spending time with children during normal working hours, we are introducing pre-recorded classes.

Weekly Orientation Camps
In a digital world, the homeschooling is facilitated by the mother. Guiding your child is not a simple task. We have weekly parent orientation sessions to help you with the curriculum for the upcoming week. This simplifies the learning process. There will be clarity and purpose for the homeschooling process through parent intervention.
We also organise physical workshops of small batches of parents and children at some of our centres to help you explore more.
Daily afterschool camps
Children have been sitting long for many months now, at home, without interacting with friends. Many of them are glued to gadgets excessively. It is important to ensure your children have physical activities and healthy hobbies, for their growth. As part of our homeschooling program, we have daily workshops covering various activities including skill development activities and physical fitness. We aim to support healthy and happy children through our home schooling.

Continous Assessment
One of the highlight of Feathertouch homeschooling in Bangalore is the focus on continous assessment. We will be updating you about the learning progress of your child at regular intervals. Since the homeschooling is currently delivered through digital mode, it is important for the teachers as well as parents to check the level of understanding of concepts and ideas. While we dont grade your children based on assesment, the assesment help to identify developmental areas in your child. Following is the assesment process in our homeschooling programs.
- We have downloadable worksheets.
- Downloaded worksheets are completed amd updated into our online classroom.
- Teachers evaluate the worksheets and upload it back to the classroom.
- Parents can review the teacher comments.

Is there any live classes?
These are programs tailor-made for working parents. The lessons are uploaded in the form of flipbooks, with the teacher delivering the class through pre-recorded videos. Children can start learning at their favourite time slots.
I am not good at teaching. Will I be able to help my child in learning?
Instructions to the facilitators are given in video form. It is simple to follow these instructions
What will happen if schools open in the middle of the programs?
You can either continue for the full length of the program or get admitted to any of our nearby branches.
Will there be any certificates issued?
We will issue a program completion certificate for all eligible students
Can my child join a formal school after completing homeschooling?
Yes.
How many hours a day is required for homeschooling?
Although children spend approximately 3 hours a day homeschooling, there is no mandatory requirement of any time duration.
Is there any difference in homeschooling curriculum comapred to regular schooling?
No.
