– Inclusion Policy
The below policy applies to all branches of Feathertouch.
Feathertouch will never be discriminating against any child on the ground of sex, religion, language or family background. While we don’t discriminate against any child on the grounds of physical or mental disabilities, we will carry out an additional review of their individual circumstances and requirements; then assess our ability at Feathertouch to meet those needs. This is necessary to fulfil our prime objective, a standard of care that ensures the welfare of all the children, all the time.
Admission Policy
Feathertouch don’t offer any services which are not publicised /offered in our prospectus/ admission forms and corporate offers. It is not necessary that some or all of the features provided by any other childcare service provider will be available at Feathertouch centres. It is the responsibility of the parents to check with the centre before joining and confirm about the availability of all the facilities they are expecting. We will not be in a position to offer any additional features and facilities on individual requests.
Admission will be always on first cum first serve basis. Admissions will be restricted to the maximum declared capacity of each centre. Children registering beyond the centre capacity will be kept on wait list.
All parents are required to declare the medical history of the child. Feathertouch reserves the right to refuse admission to any child if we reasonably believe that we are not in a position to manage the medical condition of a child in our facilities. This is keeping in mind the wellbeing of the child.
The other guidelines for deciding which child can be offered a seat in Feathertouch are:
Availability of space, taking into account the staff/child ratios, the age of the child and the registration requirements.
Extra weight is given to those who have been on the waiting list longest.
Our ability to provide the facilities for the welfare of the child.
A child wanting a full-time daycare will usually have preference over one requiring part-time only.
Those children who are siblings of those already with us, or where there is proven existing connection with Feathertouch will get priority in admissions.
